Ralph Adamo is an enthusiastic supporter and advisor to charitable organizations and programs including the Girl Scouts of the USA, a preeminent leadership development organization for girls with 3.4 million girl and adult members worldwide. In 2011, Ralph Adamo joined the Girl Scout Council of Orange County’s Mission Advocacy Committee (MAC) Task Force that helped identify 10,000 former Girl Scouts living in Orange County to support engagement within the community. The task force reached out to local companies, organizations, and groups with whom they have relationships and invited them to a variety of fabulous anniversary festivities for Girl Scout’s “Celebration of the Century” events.
Founded in 1912, Girl Scouts of USA celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2012 which was declared as “The Year of the Girl”. Their call to action focuses on the impact of girls within their community and the world, to ensure that every girl has the opportunities necessary to reach her potential.
“I support the Girl Scouts for its tradition of mentorship from generation to generation. Thousands of women can credit their successes in life to the skills and values they learned through their participation in Girl Scouts,” Ralph Adamo shared.
